Notes: The Jura was not built for the Allan Line. It was brought into service after the loss of several ships. These were dark days for the Allan Line as she lost the Canadian, June 1, 1857; the Indian, Nov 20, 1859, the Hungarian, Feb 2, 1860 and the second Canadian on June 4, 1861.
