The Elizabeth Rye Home was opened in 1924 and closed in 1933. It was run by the Church of England Waifs and Strays Society and used as a receiving home for young girls. The girls were placed out in the Toronto area as domestics. This list contains the names of only some of the girls extracted from the above file.
