Books of Interest
Many of the books in this list can be obtained from booksellers but some are long out of print. I have found that university libraries are more likely to have these types of books but some are available in public libraries. Below you will find that some of the books have Library of Congress numbers after them. This usually means that I found the book in a university library and kept the number for easy reference.
The books range in topics from conditions in London and its social structure to biographies of some of the people involved in child emigration. Books by Bagnell, Harrison and Wagner are the stories of the children themselves. Besides these books there are massive collections of papers at the Library and Archives of Canada as well as government reports from both the Canadian and British governments. The list below is by no means exhaustive.
