Mr. Mark Whitwell and Mrs. Foster [Forster] accompanied the children on their trip to Canada. Sometimes the children were sent with other distributing homes and turned over to the Immigration Agent at Saint John for placement.
Park Row Certified Industrial School used this society to send their children to Canada. The Industrial School of Bristol also used the society to send children to Canada but their children were placed in the Annapolis Valley area of Nova Scotia. Many of the children came from the local Unions.
The Society continued to bring children to Canada until about 1906. By this time over 300 children had been placed in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Quebec and Ontario.
If any one has additional information on any of these children please contact me.
